Speakeasy Ball This Thursday!

Check it out! I'll be attending and selling a  few wares at the "shameless self-promotion" table for art, zines and other handmade items (browse, sell, swap!) at the Speak Easy Ball this Thursday, November 22nd at Cinecycle (Coachhouse of 401 Richmond, Toronto) which looks like it'll be a super fun event!
The night has a 20's speak easy theme and features performances by: Catalina Fellay, flamenco dancer, Meredith J. Thompson, dancer, Erin Stone, soprano. Plus loads of jazz and music from the era to get you petting and swinging! $25 gets you a glass of their headiest libations and a spread of treats and illicit delectables. REALITY BITES

I have an artwork in the REALITY BITES art show happening in Vancouver. It's the final show at Little Mountain (195 East 26th ave) and has a lotta artists (Karin Bubas, Ann Grant, I Braineater, etcetera) commenting on reality shows, I will post an image of my Trump work for the show here soon.

Karaoke at The Beaver Sunday

I am hosting karaoke at The Beaver (1192 Queen West, Toronto)  this Sunday, 11-2...it'll be wiiiilllld and glittery!
oh, and here's something from issue 8 of Dirty Plotte, that's a teeny bopper me singing karaoke in the lower right corner. Comic by my old pal and collaborator Julian Lawrence.

DRIPPY #2


Hey guys! Back in 1999 I co-created, co-edited with Julian and Lester, wrote stuff, drew stuff, for a paper called The Drippy Gazette full of ent’ainment and comics and music! The Canadian Comics Archive has just posted issue 2 online, c-c-check it out! (issue 1 is up, too!) This ish has stuff on song-poems with a Phil Milstein interview, TV movie reviews by my Mom, comics by Owen Plummer, Shayne Ehman, and Robin Bougie, and loads more!
